They are comparatively the same. Hmm, well, I was referring to the numbers too! The 50KB CSS is one of the fastest-loading artefacts in both cases - faster than the 43-byte GIF in both cases (I don't even think packet size could explain this - only either caching, or the fact that the browser wasn't busy requesting other artefacts at that point). What's the tool that is measuring this? Is it possible to display the timestamps of the requests or any more details? -- Lee
