Not exactly a tutorial but I've found this handy a couple of times: ASP / PHP Cross Reference http://www.design215.com/toolbox/asp.php I did the opposite to you, went from 5 years ASP development to almost exclusively PHP overnight. I don't get much time to sit down and go through tutorials or read books cover to cover so I tend to look for example scripts that do something close to what I need in Google. Tizag has examples of all the basic functions http://www.tizag.com/aspTutorial/ As does W3Schools http://www.w3schools.com/asp/default.asp HTH -----Original Message----- From: thelist-bounces at lists.evolt.org [mailto:thelist-bounces at lists.evolt.org] On Behalf Of Dejan Kozina Sent: 31 August 2007 03:09 To: thelist at lists.evolt.org Subject: [Spam] [thelist] ASP tutorial suggestions Hello list. I'm a PHP coder by trade, but I got a request to deploy an ASP website made by others. No sweat here, but I kinda expect the customer to want some change in the near future (the thing sucks big time). This means touching code I didn't write, in a language I never cared much for before. Any suggestion for an ASP (Classic) tutorial suitable for people coming from PHP? Better if downloadable, even better if free (as in beer). Thanks in advance. djn -- * * Please support the community that supports you. * * http://evolt.org/help_support_evolt/ For unsubscribe and other options, including the Tip Harvester and archives of thelist go to: http://lists.evolt.org Workers of the Web, evolt !
