The original author of the script was Jesse Crossen and is now maintained it 
seems by Brad Neuberg who blogs at http://codinginparadise.org/ and has a 
post about that application here:

View the source of the iframe and you'll see some of what is involved. For a 
simpler javascript solution the term to Google for may be better as:
