[thelist] AJAX Calls Working Intermittently in IE

The biggest problem with requiring javascript, is that you lock out 
users who are not using a gui based browser, such as Lynx. Whenever I 
sit in front of a server without a gui, I dont want to need to go get 
another pc just to check a simple page for something.
