I'm sticking with Linux partly because I installed it on a new machine
and I can get back to old windows PC when needed.  Don't want to buy a
new license.

I also wanted to be familiar with Genome & KDE, so got both in my
machine.  While some of KDE applications are more user friendly, I tend
to prefer Genome as a GUI.

In a way, I'm determined to use linux desktop inspite of these hiccups.
Hope things will improve.
