[thelist] DreamWeaver content locking

I don't, unfortunately. I only know that if I create a "Library item"
for a section of a page rather than using an entire document template,
this is the code Dreamweaver automatically inserts.

Interesting, and I don't see those in the template "tag" section; do you
have a pointer to what this expression means, in contrast to
TemplateBeginEditable?
