amen to that. um, I mean, +1

if you attract people based on price, are they interested in your
professionalism and expertise, or the low price?

and, when someone else offers a lower price, where are they gonna go?

don't make yourself a commodity. learn from Gibson guitars.

when Japanese electric guitars got to be fairly good and fairly cheap,
Gibson lowered their prices. and lowered. finally gave up and decided
they'd just charge enough to make it worth their while.

and sales went up.

raised prices. sales went up. lather. rinse. repeat.

if you want to build your business there are a hundred excellent
strategies (and I'd be delighted to discuss it with you offline, since
my primary business is as a marketing mentor to small businesses and
solo professionals)

lowering your price isn't one of them.
