I used my blog (no longer active) to post book reviews. After a couple of
them, I approached publishers to provide me with books in the topic areas of
my interest and most were quite willing to do so (at no cost although one
would prefer to reimburse me after purchasing the book rather than sending
free copies). As a result, I have read about 40 books in the last 3 years.
