[thelist] Q on xHTML and DTD

I thought I was going blind! The original code does not have the extra  
'>', nor does VIEW SOURCE in firefox or IE, but it seems Chrome is  
"helping".

So the next question is how do I get this to serve as xHTML and not  
text/html ?
