There's a reason we don't do PHP scripting on the OS level. And I'm not that
big of a fan of Aptana myself. Besides, I'm not too sure I want something
that boasts it users a user client at access internal data.

But, it may be the fact I do all my own backend work, and putting another
layer between me and the data makes Jack and irritable man.

If you want a paradigm change, I'd go with learning Lua. That's one crazy
language.
