True.  And one thing I have noticed on our site was that even with all of the aforementioned tricks, we had people who would manually type spam in... bypassing all of the bot traps.

For some reason... I was STILL not convinced to buy whatever they were selling.

But obviously somebody out there must be, or else why would spammers continue to spam?
