[thelist] Mouseover map for div

Because the shape of things seems to me to be the sort of thing I like
to define with CSS - not in my HTML. Nothing wrong with MAPS and you
can use good semantic markup along with a map but <map> has always
felt like a display tag to me so I avoid it.
