[thelist] Acrobat Batch Conversion

So my customer decides that rather than purchase an iFilter to read TIFF files in SharePoint, they just want them converted to Adobe PDF format.

We have Acrobat Pro 9 Extended and can do batch conversions... except batches over a certain number crash our machine.

We know there is a way to script the process so that we can have it do smaller chunks without human intervention... any quick tips?
