I've used ZenGallery a couple of times - more lightweight than Gallery -pretty straightforward to adapt to an html/css theme.

I am looking into something similar, and wondering if anyone here has tried
using Plogger.com yet? It looks like it might solve my issue. I need a
gallery for a client who will need to upload her own images in the future,
and she is not at all computer savvy so simplicity is a must. I need to
integrate this into an existing (well, in process anyway) html template that
has css layout.

Thanks if anyone has experience with this, or can recommend another tool
they prefer!

I'd suggest something to do with Cool Iris, but it crashes Chrome far too
often. looks cool right up until it crashes, though
