Well for this site a sale is just when somebody buys a new account.
That's it. Each new account is 1 sale. The rest of the site is static.
The whole site is basically static. :)

I just whipped up this report because we noticed that it seemed
erratic. Upon examination of this basic data, I see no pattern.

OK, I guess "The Web's a very mystic place" I can't deny that. :)
