[thelist] free heatmap mouse tracking scripts?

Hi all,

I'm trying to re-find a free mouse tracking script that I used in the past
but I can't remember the name of. It was a javascript that generated a heat
map.

I think it was X,Y click-tracking rather than mouse movement tracking,
although the latter would be good too if such a thing exists.

Anyone have any ideas for free scripts?

I searched thelist archives and was surprised to find no previous
discussions about this. Does everyone use clicktale or crazyegg, or not
bother?
