SAN Certificates, right?    We don't use those (we buy a wild card and a
root domain cert).   Not sure why our IT department does it that way --
maybe lack of browser support at one point?  That would have been a long
time ago.  More likely the wild card cert is more flexible since, unlike the
SAN, you don't have to update the cert when adding a new domain -- which we
do often.
