[thelist] wireless cards for ubuntu linux

My limited experience is with a Sony VAIO VGN-FS660 which worked quite
well automatically under Ubuntu 8.04 thru 10.10 then I got a new Mac.
I have not yet made the Windows side of the Mac dual boot with WinXP
and Ubuntu, but it is on the list.

I expect any working wireless card is likely to work with any current
release of Ubuntu, though I am not up to date any more, and I hear
there is change in the air for the OS.
