If you want to look at a good Magento host the one I have worked with
is<eric at magemojo.com>
magemojo.com they are a specialist in Magento hosting and provide support
both in hardware and software.

The project does seem to have taken off and Magento is a wonderful piece of
software and will do a lot -- probably more then you will use -- it is just
one of those tools where if you can't use its full array of features then
its almost not worth the hassle.

If you are going to go the Magento route there are resources that can help
with custom themes inexpensively, they will also help with installation and
pointing out which modules you need -- they are very process driven so you
have to make sure the design mockups are fully fleshed out.
