We're just writing some shit that we're not going to be hosting but that
the client wants to have hosted on solaris(bank), and this hosting
company is saying we shouldn't run it on Solaris because Spectra has
'issues' on Solaris so it should be hosted on NT.. Its my opinion that
they are full of shit, and just don't have any solaris boxes around(even
though they said they do) or someone to run them. I love calling shitty
companies on stuff like that who try to pawn off technical 'issues' of
one platform just because they don't know how it works, or can't support
it and was looking for any grain of truths in their argument.. thanks
though.. if anything, bring up my CF/Linux rant to jeremey that i sent
out about a month ago to ray :)
