It has to do with lower prices a few weeks ago, as wholesalers were clearing out the "winter blend" of reformulated gas. As that's moving out of the distro pipeline, the "summer" stuff is coming in at "normal" prices. It's supposed to keep going up. Of course, until last summer, I paid the same for a gallon of gas as my parents did 25 years ago, so I'm not going to complain. I want my solar car....
