Just a quick 'add-on' ... parking in those cities, (NY & DC), is usually a
complete nightmare as well! ... Dinner reservations around Georgetown?
Better leave plenty of time for walking!

... and parts of DC ... at the right time of day ... can be pretty nice on a
bike as well!
