Hi,

I know this must have been discussed before but as I am quite new around
here...
The questions I have are in regards to intellectual property/copyright
of web design work.
I heard that although the client has the rights over the final product,
the designer still owns the rights to individual art creation such as
images, scripts, etc.
I have been working in web design for a while now never really had to
stop and pay attention to those details.
Now I am entering a partnership with two friends and we were developing
a contract but we are not sure how to word it as we don't know who holds
the rights to what....
When handing the final product to the client, should we hand in the PSD,
AI, FLA files with it or we only hand in the final product with the
gifs, jpgs and swfs?
THose are some of the many questions we have and we would really
appreciate any help anybody can give us to get this figured out.
Thank you in advance,

Flavia Tarzwell (FayeC)
Web Designer/Developer
