[thechat] What's in the wall ...

Hi Michele,

Not to worry - it's probably just a stray giraffe. That's just the way they
are.

Don'tcha love it when cats do that?

Hmmmm ... given that it's attracted to the light ... I'll have to guess
bird. They DO make a lot of scratching noises when they get stuck like
that. I had a Starling get stuck behind some kitchen cabinets once in Ohio
... I left a flashlight on near a small opening and eventually it found it's
own way out... Then I had to 'catch and release' it - the cats REALLY wanted
to be helpful! I'm sure we all looked like something out of a Marx brother's
movie. Hmmmm ... maybe Keystone Cops actually. Anyway, the cats just added
soooo much to making that a calm and peaceful exercise! ;-)

Let us know what you find!

RonL.

Who's had birds, bats, mice, and rats find there way into various houses
.... mostly always uninvited. There's just something special about waking
up and finding a live bat in the bathroom .... it's almost better than
caffeine!

I'm working away here .. and suddenly realize the cats are both scratching
at the wall, and they start to make a lot of noise.

So, any guesses? A bird, a bat, a mouse, a chipmunk?
