Strangely enough, I use a PC webcam called the 3Com HomeConnect. It's USB
based, has Mac drivers, and generally works perfectly. I grabbed either
Webcam32 (PC) or CoolCam (Mac) to do website uploads.

Two bad things:

 - no longer in production (so it should be cheap, but unsupported)
 - the Mac drivers are Classic only - to run it on OS X, you've got
   have Classic mode running in the background.

Otherwise I have no complaints. Quality is pretty good. Never tried
Logitech but would stay away from Creative Lab cams as much as possible
(returned mine the same day; poor, fuzzy quality)...
