How about a 'weird'n'wonderful evolt pet competition'?

Michele had the bat in the wall ...

We've got a really strange collection of cats: one (perdita), was 
abandoned by her mother in a flax bush; her father, grandfather, 
great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather were all the same, 
blind-in-one-eye, tom of a really mental-looking cat colony; was fed 
by my partner through a syringe for the first few months of her life; 
suffered from a mega-oesophagus for the first 6 months (normally 
restricted to spaniels, I think); is now 9 years of age, 4 1/2 kilos, 
wields a massive girth, and is a grade-one human-attacker.
