it's the soundbites that are so dangerous.  we start
repeating the soundbites from tv and from our
politicians, more and more, and more and more people,
and then it becomes a chant, and we become one with
something, belong to something, as our herd-animal
psyche demands, then we switch the brain off, we stop
being individuals, we become the mass, and the mass is
easy to manipulate and control...
