Speaking of "what you're listening to", who's interested in the iPod?

It looks slick. I can see some uses for it - and if I can get it to 
connect to my car stereo...that'd be cool.

Basically, it's a tiny 5GB FireWire (IEEE 1394) drive that'll synch 
up with iTunes, play mp3's, and hold files in any left over space. 
Imagine a 1GB encrypted disk image on there with your goodies on it 
(I'll let *you* define "goodies") that you carry around with you, 
listen to your 1000 songs from for 10 hours, and have access to 
whenever you have a firewire mac around...and it'll recharge the 
battery through the FireWire cable while you're getting at your data. 
Cool, huh?

Looks sexy too.

I just wish it weren't so expensive...
