My son and I tried last year and saw one or two
meteors.
I'm going to try again this time; I have a warmer 
sleeping bag and a cot, so I'll be a bit more
dedicated.

Yikes! Just checked the weather forecast for 
Victorville, CA this weekend. Overnight lows in the
upper 30s F. Good test of my 0 F sleeping bag.

As for satellites, I just checked my favorite bookmark
on the subject:

and got a 'could not connect to server.' Anybody got
any other links to satellite info?
