Telecommuting for the past two years. Had ISDN, now DSL. Used to commute
2-1/2 to 3 hours a day in Atlanta. Now work from an enclosed porch in a
town of 10,000. Commute is 30 seconds at most.
Discipline came by way of making sure my clients could get in touch with me
easily during normal hours and somewhat easily any other time. I dress the
same as I did for the office (business casual) except the shoes. I find
this helps my attitude. Wouldn't feel the same in my PJs. :)
My client is in Atlanta, my servers in DC and I am in a 60 year old house
in downtown Newberry, SC.
