yes, it's the same peter jackson. and yes, i'm expecting to enjoy the film.

i'm not particularly excited about that, and i've heard that liv tyler is
the weakpoint of the film, but you have to admit that the real depth of the
arwen/aragorn romance does not really occur during LotR. prior to that,
aragorn does some hardcore stuff to prove himself to elrond, etc. so, i
guess jackson has been forced to write arwen into more scenes to avoid
weakening the r'ship.

i have heard that arwen also replaces eowyn in the siege of gondor (fight
with nazgul king, etc), but i hope that doesn't actually happen.

we'll see. not long now. :)
