For the last two days I've found myself doing stuff clearly listed as 
a symptom in the article... Still, in my case, Lacan was right on the 
money with his 'enjoy your symptom' maxim. Lovely idea.

One thing I haven't had to worry about is the hypochondriacal idea 
that I'm a hypochondriac. Once had a flatmate who went to the doctor 
because his 'left lung wasn't working.' The doctor gave him a note 
and said it was very serious, open this in private. It read: "You are 
a hypochondriac, and need professional psychological help. Do not 
come back here!!!"
