RonL no offence taken ever.  No offense, either.

I really enjoy the image of a carful of drunks debating whether to
pelt Kissinger's house with frozen Brussels sprouts.... spouts...
either or both.

Yeah.  That's what it's all about, really.

I'm feeling grateful today.

I've got a nice job in the state with the highest unemployment rate
in the US.  Got vacation time, medical benefits, sick days... I work
on a beautiful campus where I can swim or go to the gym at lunch, or
go play music in the music building.

The public schools, yes, are in a downward spiral (at least in
Oregon).  I've switched my daughter to a Catholic school. It's
diverse and small, and she loves it.  The educational standards are
higher and class sizes smaller. They gave us financial aid, even.

I have so much to be grateful for.

I'm sitting here listening to the Ramones & feeling blissful.

Only thing that would make it better is if we could all get together
in the pub after work...

ah well.
