well, one thing about headhunters and recruiters is that usually they
leave enough information in their descriptions to be able to search for
specific phrases to find the REAL company's actual job posting and
description. /OR/ to be able to infer who the company is.

when I was looking I'd often check the recruiters sites, then be able to
find the company itself, and bypass the (idiot) recruiters altogether.

recruiters are tools. you have to know how to use them, or they'll end
up using you. :-)
