Which, IMHO, shows just how far software has still got to
go. If someone who has been using computers for quire a
while still can't get stuff like that, then it's not good
enough. Someone new to computers should ideally be able to
do it. Double clicking on a driver should install it -
albeit with a warning telling you what it's doing, why, and
telling you that if your computer is working fine, and
isn't in the process of being set up that you probably
don't need to do it.
