I did read an interesting article that said 56k dial up users stand more
chance of getting hacked. The thought behind this statement is that an IP
address given out by an ISP could be used by several different people in a
couple of hours. Say you just log on for 5 minutes to collect your e-mails,
when you break the connection it is instantly used by someone else, ad
infinitum. Therefore a hacker/cracker could infect a lot more people this
way.
