Seb, bummer!

>most of them are in california, it appears (what's a razorfish?)

Ha.

>speaking of california, marlene, what up with google?

They contacted me a couple days ago (I'd have written to say but I
was frantically trying to get out the door for the weekend) and said
they'd decided not to go forward with me. When I subsequently called
the guy who'd given me the "in" he didn't even know they'd turned me
down, and said he thought I'd given a great interview. We left a door
open to keep in touch in the future.

Oh, and my other possibility with Fannie Mae has also fallen through.
They decided not to hire for the position after all, and are looking
for a Java programmer instead.

I'm looking for work as a user interface designer full time or
contract, in the San Francisco bay area. Feel free to take a look at
my site: http://digitizethis.com/

I'm getting ready to start MarleneBruce.com because I want to
separate a purely professional site for potential employers from my
journal. Not that most potential employers would have time to look at
my journal. Not that most potential employers would even find my
resume among the other few hundred they've received.

Do I sound bitter? Nah, I'm just having fun. There's still hope.

I'm hungry ... been meaning to get off to dinner...

Marlene
