I also wrote a note to them mentioning that their site is being reported
all over the Web for stealing evolt.org's design, including
http://pirated-sites.com/ , http://www.zeldman.com/ and elsewhere.

Has any of the evolt.org admin sent them a letter asking them to remove the
design? Digital Web's Nick Finck has a nifty letter that he uses, as he has
this happen frequently, unfortunately. He may be kind enough to share it or
give some ideas. Ya think?

If they continue to disregard all this, we could also write letters to
their clients and tell them about their business practices.

I also have a Canadian colleague who was able to get the U.S. FBI to go
after a San Francisco designer who stole her design for their own site,
similar to what happened at evolt.org. The difference, though, is that it
appears that the thieves may be in India, not the U.S. so I don't know have
a clue what jurisdiction this is, whether it's U.S. since they stole a U.S.
site, or India, or what.

Warmly,
Shirley
