OK, you've successfully hijacked this thread.  Maybe we should keep score?

I don't think I've ever sat through a whole episode of Xena...so I'm not up
on Ares as portrayed on TV.  In the myths I've read Ares had a few memorable
experiences...among them: Hephaestus finding Ares in bed with his wife and
chaining them together in it, then inviting the rest of Olympus to come and
ridicule them.  And yeah, he was stuffed in a jar when some Titans (not sure
on this point) came and messed with the Olympians.

Personally, the Greek gods leave a lot to be desired IMHO.  I'll take Irish
myths over Greek any day.  Cuchulainn would rip any Greek hero a new one.
