When the company you work for offers all its employees a gift from
a "rewards catalogue", and you choose the 15-year-old Glenfiddich,
and then it arrives, and sits on your desk for a while, don't open
it up "just to have a sniff".

Because once you sniff it, it will take all your willpower not to
have "a wee drop", and quite possibly drive you insane in the
process.
