yeah janata party always sucked, no wonder they are defunct.
he wasnt such a bad guy though (at least from what i saw & read about him,
though  all of this was after he had stopped being the prime minister) ,
must've
 scared of any disease germs with that ammoniated breath.

i've always heard this joke (or fact ?!) about morarji desai going to
Britain
and meeting the prime minister (i think Margaret thatcher at that time).
She proposes a toast in morarji's honour - at that point he says 'excuse
me',
visits the gents and returns with the wine glass full of you-know-what....
