I can't say that I do, but since I stopped watching Star Trek after the first
year of the Voyager debacle, I really can't claim to have seen any of the
newer episodes either.
I think this is pretty much the case with laws in general though. The
conversation never go
A: "Hey! Why don't we do this? This would solve all of our problems!"
B: "That's against this certain law."
A: "You're right, old chap. Let us try another solution."
but instead go along the lines of
A: "Hey! Why don't we do this? This would solve all of our problems!"
B: "That's against this certain law."
A: "Well, is there any way around this law?"
B: "Let me look it up and see if I can find any obscure loop holes that would
allow us to throughly disobey the law just like the U.S. tax codes!"
A: "Sounds good!"
