Regarding property and economic status: hurray! women are now worker
bees, just like men.

children and elderly (and disabled folks) do not contribute
economically. Children and elderly are warehoused so adults in their
prime can work more hours.

Child rearing (and elder care) is now done by low paid
"professionals." No more orphanages... but now all children may be
orphaned for 10 hours each day! Oh, aren't we advanced? pat pat
ourselves on the back...

I think now all of humanity is essentially property of the US
economic and military machine. To keep people complacent we are
fooled into thinking our working means we are "self-sufficient." In
fact, we are totally dependant on the system.

I agree.

Sounds creative and effective. It works for you, at this time, in
this place. So there you go.
