Hi All,

Whoo hooo! I got an interview for the job I was applying for. Thanks again
to all who helped out!

They just called to tell me that I'd got an interview and ask a couple of
questions about whether I have the right to work in the UK (I do). I don't
have an exact time and date yet, but she said they'd be doing interviews on
the 7th and 8th of October.  They're actually paying for my flights too! I'm
*so* excited. My neighbours must think I've gone totally crazy. I was
running and jumping around the house and screaming my head off!

BTW it's a job with Amnesty International. Not great pay, but I would
finally get to do work that I feel is worthwhile politically not just
interesting from a technical or design perspective.

So, how about that beervolt?
