sadly, when clinton was in the white house, it was easy to bring up
similar misdeeds, but nobody seemed to care... perjury?
somehow that's acceptable for him, but not others?  we'll only
accept lies when they're big and bold, and not the spin-doctor lies
we've had for a hundred+ years?

perhaps with a republican, people can get their dander up... it's
easier to be outraged at republicans because the press does such
a good job of quoting out of context, and the average american
doesn't have a clue what makes for a good
environment/school/business/etc. and is too willing to listen to
anecdotal arguments that rarely apply to anything outside of the
one sad little case...

with the last democrat, nobody seemed to mind letting what little
integrity the office had left wither and die...

i tend to be wary of people who assault a particular party like that...
and i'm not even republican (i just vote like 'em)...
