Excuse my naivety, but is there an option in the US voting system to cast a vote for "none of the above"? I've often wanted to vote that way (here in the UK), but there never seems to be a sensible way to do it and spoiled ballot papers don't really convey the message. maybe true democracy should include a no confidence option, maybe that'd get more votes?
