Mmmmmm... pie. If you're a nancy veggie like myself, then there's a few
chippies round Brighton that do great Quorn pies, though they do have to
be cooked in exactly the style described above or they're not worth
eating. Cheese and onion pasties are a suitable alternative, but must be
piping hot, and covered in gravy.

Yeah, fried pizza is a bit rare dahn sath, but I there are a few places
to get it.

A lot better than it sounds. I had one years ago, and was more impressed
than I expected to be. Of course, I kinda expected to be violently ill
with all the Voddy I'd been drinking.

Mmm. Calzone. I fell in love with them when I was living in France. Of
course, they didn't do a 90cm calzone, so we would all stay late in the
office, get a few beers in, and all order these enormous pizzas. (just
under 3 feet in old money) Then it was a case of folding them over
straight out of the box, and waiting for the melted cheese to form a
seal at the edges. After that, they stay hot for several hours, which is
lucky because that's how long they took to eat.

The tiny little 9 inch Calzones that they sell in Waitrose here just
aren't the same.

On my walk home:

Nandos, BK, Maccy D's, KFC, 11 bab houses, 4 chippies, 3 indians, a
chinese, 2 thai, 2 pizza the huts, a dominos, a famous moe, a
dial-a-pizza, a pizza plus, and about 2 dozen real restaurants.

Of course, that's only the 10 minute walk. Along the seafront, there's
more than that. Something about the sea air gives you a big appetite.
