I agree:

* The display != 100% takes some getting used to.
* The delay between shutter release and activation takes some
getting used to.

Any other 'surprises' in going to digital?

For me it was the realization that, (yeah sure), I save money on film and
developing ... but I chew up hours and hours in downloading, resizing, and
editing (mostly cropping).
