michaels and madden in particular

but i have also watched nfl with the sound off, with the radio on

hey, remember that game about 15 years ago they broadcast with no
announcers, just the stadium noise?  i loved that too

i mean, national television commercials, especially during nfl playoffs,
suck mightily

i think they are inversely annoying with how much they cost to produce and
air

radio is neater, because the markets are local

today i heard a radio commercial by a highway -- "come travel the 407 ETR"
(extended toll road) to get home from work quicker and see what kind of
shenanigans your latchkey kids are up to
