In an event that will hopefully highlight the blatant stupidity of the
death penalty in the US, a federal appeals court (one step below Supreme
Court) has ruled that Arkansas can force an inmate to take
anti-psychotic medication in order to make him "sane enough" to be executed.

The judge writing the majority opinion said:
"Eligibility for execution is the only unwanted consequence of the
medication"
